Only six days after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the news that the Japanese are about to attack sunny California spreads like wildfire. Indeed, amid rampant paranoia, a Japanese submarine surfaces off the Californian coast, commanded by ambitious Commander Akiro Mitamura, who wants to destroy the lustrous symbol of America: Hollywood.
